On the occasion of World Intellectual Property Day 2025, SVKM's IPR Cell proudly hosted an inspiring event dedicated to academic innovation, creativity, and the transformative power of intellectual property.

BNCP students were recognized as awardees at the Dr. P. D. Patil National Level Award for Best Thesis in Pharmaceutical Sciences 2024, which took place on April 4th, 2025, at the DYP DPU School of Pharmacy and Research in Pune.

Ms. Meeral Gosia, student of Second year B. Pharm., has won the 1st prize in the Poster Presentation at the prestigious International Conference, at Pune on 210February 2025.

We are delighted to share the wonderful news that Meeral Gosia, under the guidance of Angel Godad, has won the 1st prize in the Poster Presentation at the prestigious International Conference on "Advances in Pharmaceutical Science Research: Traditional to Novel Approaches," hosted by Dattakala Shikshan Sanstha's Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Research, Pune (for girls) on 21st February 2025.

Dr. Sujata P. Sawarkar Professor Department of Pharmaceutics SVKM's Dr. Bhanuben Nanavati College of Pharmacy delivered talk entitled Synergizing Nanofiber Scaffolds with Hydrogel for advanced Volumetric Muscle Loss Healing on 21st February 2025 at CRS Singapore 2025. Professor Sujata was invited as Speaker at CRS Singapore 2025 CRS Singapore Asia Satellite Meeting being held on 19th -21st February 2025. The conference was a collaborative event of seven Local Chapters  of Controlled Release Society, under the aegis of Controlled Release Society International at the premises of the National University of Singapore (NUS). The presentation was attended by  leading international researchers, academicians , industry professionals and students. The presentation was interactive and received overwhelming response from the attendees.

We are incredibly proud to announce that Ms. Aditi Venkatesh, Ms. Isha Bond, and Ms. Nimisha Chitroda, our talented Final Year B. Pharm students, presented their UG SCIENTELLECT RESEARCH work and secured the Second Prize at the XV Young Pharmacist Innovative Project Award at the State-Level competition organized by Saraswathi Vidya Bhavan's College of Pharmacy, Dombivli, on 15th February 2025. Mentored by Ms. Siddhi Bagwe Parab, Assistant Professor at SVKM’s BNCP, they have demonstrated remarkable potential in pharmaceutical innovation!

SVKM's Dr. Bhanuben Nanavati College of Pharmacy (BNCP) has been awarded the Maximum Projects Innovation Trophy at the Creative Ideas Innovation in Action (CIIA 4.0) ceremony held at the Nehru Science Center, Worli, Mumbai.

SVKM's Dr. Bhanuben Nanavati College of Pharmacy (BNCP) received the Maximum Projects Innovation Trophy at the CIIA 4.0 ceremony at Nehru Science Center, Mumbai. This award recognizes the innovative excellence of BNCP students, who presented groundbreaking projects to industry leaders, MSMEs, start-ups, and venture capitalists.

The event offered students valuable exposure and networking opportunities, fostering future collaborations. Dr. Trinette Fernandes, BNCP Alumni and Ph.D. student guided by Dr. Sujata Sawarkar, Professor & HoD- Pharmaceutics awarded "Young Scientist Grant" award and a Grant of USD 2000 by CRS International at CRS International Conference, Italy held on 8th July 2024. Dr. Munira Momin, Principal, SVKM's BNCP received prestigious Nehru-Fulbright international higher education administrators fellowship. She along with 14 members from various universities of India and various discipline, visited and interacted at 18 various higher education institutes at Chicago, Philadelphia, New Jersey, Maryland, Washington and Virginia.

SVKM’s Dr. BNCP, Dr. Tabassum Khan awarded Erasmus+ staff mobility

SVKM’s Dr. Bhanuben Nanavati College of Pharmacy proudly announces that Dr. Tabassum Khan, Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, has been awarded the prestigious Erasmus+ Staff Mobility Program 2025. She is the first faculty member from any pharmacy college affiliated with the University of Mumbai to receive this honor. As part of the program, she visited the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine (USAMV), Cluj-Napoca, Romania, from May 7–13, 2025, under Project ICMKA 171-22. Hosted by Prof. Emoke Pall, Dr. Khan conducted sessions for senior veterinary students on phytochemistry, natural product isolation, nanotechnology, and case studies like MASTHEAL. The students were highly engaged and enthusiastic. The visit also included interactions with faculty and Erasmus+ administrative staff, tours of departments and the university's botanical garden, and cultural insights into Romanian and Hungarian life. The program fostered academic exchange and opened avenues for future collaborations and research partnerships.
