Research Ethics
SVKM’s Dr. Bhanuben Nanavati College of Pharmacy, aims to uphold the quality, integrity, and independence of research, and strives to ensure that it is conducted in accordance with good research practice. The responsibility for this rests with management and individual researchers inclusive of undergraduate, postgraduate, Ph. D students and the faculty. The institute nurtures and promotes conduct of high quality research conducted and reported truthfully. The research ecosystem of BNCP echoes the attributes of honesty, integrity, reliability and accountability in all its research endeavours. The institute adheres to the ICMR four basic principles of research ethics are autonomy (respect for persons), beneficence (to do good), non-maleficence (to do no harm) and justice (concept of fairness irrespective of caste, creed, region or religion etc.). These principles are followed for safeguarding the dignity, rights, safety and well-being of research participants and for maintaining the research integrity.
